DUSA Pharma suffers cargo theft

Generic drugmaker DUSA Pharmaceuticals suffered a cargo theft over the weekend of February 6-7 in Ohio, USA, losing a shipment of acne medication kits valued at approximately $320,000, according to a communication from the Pharma Cargo Security Coalition, an industry group.
The trailer was dropped at a truck stop on Saturday and was due to be picked back up the following day. When the driver returned to retrieve it, the trailer was gone, according to the PCSC.
