Perrigo shipment stolen in Texas

US over-the-counter and generic drug company Perrigo suffered a full truckload (FTL) theft near Dallas, Texas, sometime in the last 24 hours, losing a shipment valued at some $400,000.
The shipment was en route from Perrigo's distribution centre in Martin, Michigan, to a warehouse - in San Marcos, Texas, operated by the H E Butt Grocery Company supermarket chain.
The load contained the hair regrowth treatment minoxidil, cases of nicotine gum and lozenges for smoking cessation and various OTC, nutritional and vitamin supplement products, according to an alert from the Pharmaceutical Cargo Security Coalition (PCSC).
The driver of the truck pulled up at a rest stop to shower and when he returned to his rig discovered it was missing.
