The Laetus success story starts with PHARMA-CODE™, the first established system for the automatic inspection of packaging materials. That positioned us as a pioneer in the testing of pharmaceutical packaging. Our most prominent product, ARGUS, set the standard for packaging security and its level of recognition now makes it a classic brand product.
POLYPHEM hit the market in 1987 as the first camera system available for filling material inspection. Today this solution is a global bestseller.
Our ISO 9001 certification in 1994 significantly improved our quality management systems. Since the development of the GAMP Guide, Laetus has carried out all production on that standard.
In 1999, we developed and introduced an innovative modular system - the Web technology (wt). Web Technology unifies both classical code readers and cameras for printing and filling control into a single Ethernet network.
The INSPECT solution inspires and impresses customers all over the world. This system, which can be installed with multiple applications, helps to locate quality defects or irregularities in the manufacturing process every day. INSPECT wt detects packaging errors where the human eye cannot: the system identifies incorrectly packaged pharmaceuticals, recognizes all codes and colors and compares them with predefined standards.
